In Finnieston, there’s a new modern chippie with an amazing variety of classic and modern fish supper but also, with a SECRET. Behind the refrigerator is Glasgow’s newest hidden restaurant specialising in seafood and fish dishes called Sole Club.
Sole Club, an exclusive restaurant only seating up to 20, offers a menu consisting of 4 small plates for £35pp revolving around local seafood and fish, with optional additions of sides, snacks and desserts.
A stand out dish for me was definitely the Blow Torch Mackerel! Love a strong chargrilled flavour and this dish really embodied those flavours. Also really enjoyed the Hand Dived Scallops which were cooked perfectly!
I really like this new concept, it’s quite different for Glasgow and brings a new innovative experience to Finnieston! If you’re a big seafood and/or fish supper fan then definitely check out Sole Club!
