Located beside River Dee and in the secluded greenery of Aberdeenshire is a beautiful medieval hotel that turns 800 years old called Maryculter House.
Located just over 2 hours away from Glasgow, this 4 star hotel is an outstanding location for a cozy weekend getaway away from the hustle and bustle of the city! Especially during the colder seasons, Maryculter House is perfect for a cozy stay, with their beautiful Main Hall boasting an impressive fireplace which is perfect for a warm night in over a dram or hot chocolate.
We visited recently and booked the Cozy Knight In packaged which was £149 per night (£169 per night during warmer seasons). This package includes:
✅ An overnight stay in the accommodation

In my honest opinion, the package is such great value for what you receive and the location you’re staying in. Stunning atmosphere both inside Maryculter House AND the surroundings outdoors. Not forgetting the service at the hotel being impeccable! We were so well taken care of by each member of staff!
