Scotland's biggest and most popular film festival returns to Glasgow Film Theatre this February 28th - March 10th 2024!
The biggest film festival in Scotland is returning for a 20th year at Glasgow Film Theatre!
It’s been 85 years since the GFT building opened as The Cosmo Cinema in 1939. It’s been 50 years since ‘Glasgow Film Theatre’ was born in 1974. And now it’s celebrating the 20th year of the Glasgow Film Festival!
At the GFT, Glasgow Film Festival 2024 will open with the UK Premiere of Rose Glass’ new thriller Love Lies Bleeding Featuring Kristen Stewart, from the 28th February - 10th March. This festival will also showcase unique international indie films from across the globe, right in the centre of Glasgow.
Across 12 packed days, the programme boasts 11 world and international premieres, 69 UK premieres and 15 Scottish premieres, from 44 countries. Tickets are on sale now at Glasgowfilmfest.org
